Home Care Powered by AUAF Attends Back-to-School Events
September 1, 2022In order to usher in the new school year, Home Care Powered by AUAF attended a series of back-to-school attends across Chicagoland! August is the time of year when families in all communities prepare their students for their impending studies. This often comes in the form of attending events designed to celebrate the new school year. Home Care Powered by AUAF prides itself on playing an active part in the communities we serve. So, our staff was thrilled to attend four separate back-to-school events.
The back-to-school community events
Chicago was home to a wide variety of back-to-school events during August. Throughout the month, we visited City Lights Church, Fiesta de Verano, and events at both Steinmetz College Prep and Lloyd Elementary School. Children were welcome to take a variety of school supplies, food, and treats in preparation for the upcoming year.
It was our pleasure to be involved in these community events. They were the perfect opportunity to get to know the members of the diverse communities we serve. It was our privilege to help set students up for success this year by offering goodie bags.
Home Care Powered by AUAF’s involvement
We took the time to discuss home care with families who visited our booths. Many parents of young children have older parents who need assistance living independently, but aren’t sure where to start. At our table, they learned what home care includes, how they know if they qualify, and about the services they provide. Home Care Powered by AUAF is rapidly expanding, so we also spoke with attendees about our diverse career opportunities.
For more than 25 years, Home Care Powered by AUAF has served the greater Chicago area as a leading non-medical home care provider. It is our mission to help seniors live out their lives in the comfort of their homes while giving their families peace of mind.
