St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Visits Home Care Powered by AUAF
June 3, 2022On April 6, our friends at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital paid us a visit to thank us for our donation. Jennifer Herrera, the bilingual development representative, stopped by to meet with Home Care Powered by AUAF’s executives. We were thrilled to discuss our aligned goals and the importance of St. Jude’s cause.
About St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is an organization that people across America support. Since 1962, St. Jude has served the nation as one of the most prominent research hospitals for children. The treatments invented at St. Jude treat cancer, blood disorders, and related life-threatening diseases. In addition to the organization’s lifesaving mission, these facilities provide comfortable lodging, meals, and support services for patients and families.
The Midwest branch offers 20 handicap-accessible resident rooms with adjoining bathrooms. With amenities such as the parlor, kitchens, laundry facilities, and lounge, guests feel at home. The staff works tirelessly to offer comfort and support. During such a difficult time, that solace is invaluable.
Supporting Communities in Need
Patients never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food from St. Jude. As a result, parents can focus their energy on helping their children get healthy. Donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital directly impacts families in need of this help.
At Home Care Powered by AUAF, one of our missions is to aid organizations that share our values. Therefore, we are honored to donate $25,000 to this noble cause.
Helping communities in need (such as the families with St. Jude) is our privilege. Since the conception of Home Care, we’ve taken pride in giving back to communities in our area. We’re thrilled to continue to be able to do so.
