What Locations Does Home Care Powered by AUAF Serve?
November 28, 20222023 will be Home Care Powered by AUAF’s 30th anniversary. Over nearly three decades, we have had the great pleasure of serving thousands of seniors and their families in the greater Chicago area. Things have greatly changed in that time, and so have we.
You may know that our headquarters moved from downtown Chicago to Lincolnwood in 2013, but what locations does Home Care Powered by AUAF serve? Our work has long since stretched across Cook and Lake counties, but did you know we have more than one office? Thanks to our great expansion over the past few years, we have had the opportunity to open two additional offices in the Chicago area!
What locations does Home Care Powered by AUAF serve?
Home Care Powered by AUAF serves so much more than Chicago. Our work stretches to the suburbs and beyond, allowing us to serve a wider range of seniors. In order to complete our work more efficiently, it is important to have relatively easy access to important documents and resources.
Our three office locations are more convenient for both our workers and our clients. Traveling with one’s aging parent or loved one can be difficult. With three offices, seniors and their families can choose the location that is closest to them, should they need to pay a visit.
Our Illinois offices include:
- 4343 W Touhy Ave, Lincolnwood, IL 60712
- 1100 S Roselle Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60193
- 3231 N Harlem, Chicago, IL 60634 (opening soon!)
We also recently opened an office in Arizona! Now, seniors in the greater Phoenix area can benefit from the same quality of non-medical home care services senior Illinoisans do.
What kind of care services does Home Care Powered by AUAF offer?
As we age, certain things grow difficult that we never considered a problem before. Arthritis can make once simple tasks like buttoning a shirt painful. Vacuuming can be exhausting. Remembering which medication to take can be daunting.
Our at-home caregivers can assist with all of this and more. Our non-medical care options include:
- Personal care: toileting, bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Meal preparation: preparing meals and cleaning up afterward
- Medication reminders: set a schedule or reminders so seniors take the correct dosage at the right time
- Light housekeeping: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, etc.
- Laundry: sorting, washing, folding, and ironing
- Errands: picking up groceries, medication, or mail from the post office
- Brain games: mentally stimulating activities
- Companionship: engaging conversation and companionship
Starting your caregiving career
Not everyone is suited to work a nine-to-five job. Some people need a fulfilling career that changes every single day with new challenges and new rewards. That is precisely the type of career caregiving is.
We offer thorough training to ensure that you provide the best quality care to your clients. If you already provide care to a loved one, we offer a program that allows family caregivers to be paid for the work they already do.
